PHIL Award Nomination
The PHIL Award (Pulmonary Health and Illnesses of the Lungs) presents an ideal opportunity for patients, families, providers and staff to recognize respiratory therapists for their remarkable work.
The PHIL Award was established by Sharman Lamka as part of The FACES Foundation after her husband, Philip C. Lamka, passed away from an Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD). Sharman wanted to establish a way of acknowledging the valuable role that respiratory therapists play in the lives of patients with life-threatening pulmonary illnesses.
UW Health is proud to implement The PHIL Award program to honor respiratory therapists, who can be nominated by patients, families, visitors and care team members.
Please complete this online form to nominate a remarkable respiratory therapist today! The deadline for nominations is October 1, 2020.
