The Wisconsin Alliance of Artists and Craftspeople is a non-profit organization formed to promote and create contact between Wisconsin Artists and the public. WAAC takes pride in being created and operated by the artists themselves. Since 1980, the group has sponsored two Madison-based juried art fairs: Art Fair Off the Square, held in July on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd in July and Winter Art Fair Off the Square, held in Monona Terrace Convention Center in November. Both shows are home to over a hundred artists working in a variety of media. For more information about our group, or if you are a Wisconsin artist wishing to join, please visit our website.

"In loving memory of Ryan Jamie Burda, December 14, 1971-February 26, 2017, I will be showing a world he created. I never knew the beauty of a Coral Reef Aquarium until he taught me. When working behind the lens, I saw a beauty that was absolutely breathtaking. I hope you can find peace in this tiny slice of the mystical world of the ocean." – Cindy Popp

"Snow is the parchment of winter on which the stories of winter landscapes are told. Through it we experience the shadows of winter wood stretching long across woodlands and valleys. Sunlight and shadow dance across the landscape giving it color, pattern, form and movement as time goes by. Wind sculpts snow to its will in an ever changing pattern giving each moment a unique appearance only to be changed in an instant to something new. As these changes take place, we are left with just a memory of a wonderful moment to savor. All of these things give winter a special meaning in our lives." - Dick Fayram
