Madison, Wisconsin – UW Health announced today they will be temporarily consolidating all its behavioral health, substance abuse, and psychiatry care locations to one designated site at Wisconsin Psychiatry Institute & Clinics (WisPIC), 6001 Research Park Boulevard in Madison.

To support social distancing and slow the spread of COVID-19 in our community, UW Health is adapting its behavioral health and psychiatry care to reduce in-person visits and move largely to phone and video visits for the duration of this situation.

In the coming days UW Health will have additional online tools available for staff and patients to support their behavioral health needs. In-person visits will be limited to patients who have critical needs that cannot be met by conducting their appointments with their providers by phone or video.

Patients can contact the Behavioral Health access line at (608) 233-3575 with questions or to request an appointment. Patients are encouraged to maintain their usual frequency of appointments by using phone and video appointment options.
