UW Health Experts Talk Quilting on Wisconsin Public Television

Quilt and sewing implementsUW Health experts will be featured on national television to promote heart health.
A UW Health dietitian, exercise specialist and former UW Health patient will be featured on Wisconsin Public Television's "Sewing with Nancy," hosted by Nancy Zieman.
A well-known sewing expert and national spokeswoman for the Go Red for Women Movement, Nancy has worked with UW Health to create four segments about heart health that will air during the "Nancy's Corner" part of her show.

Each segment is about five minutes long, and features a one-on-one interview with Nancy Zieman during "Nancy's Corner."

  • Easy exercises for quilters and sewers along with way of incorporating stretches into a busy sewing schedule featuring UW Health exercise specialist Karla Block

  • Living with heart disease and taking steps to reduce your risk factors with UW Health patient and heart attack survivor Mary Celnicker
