Get Your Flu Vaccine

Prevention and vaccination information to help you stay healthy

UW Health COVID-19 Resources

Madison, Wisconsin - It is vitally important for everyone to get an influenza vaccine (flu shot) this year and to get it early.

In an effort to encourage vaccinations, UW Health has started a drive-thru flu shot clinic for patients and staff at the UW Health Pharmacy Services building located at 3185 Deming Way in Middleton. (Map)

Drive-thru influenza vaccines are offered Monday through Friday from 8:15am-5:15pm and will be available until at least Oct. 30, 2020. Patients must be 6 years or older to receive a vaccination at the drive-thru.

Patients can schedule an appointment through MyChart and must bring their prescription benefit card information. For UW Health employees, no appointment is needed. Once patients or employees enter the parking lot, they can just follow the signs to the vaccination tent.

Getting an influenza vaccine does not protect against COVID-19, but flu vaccines have been shown to reduce the risk of flu illness, hospitalization and death. Getting a flu vaccine this fall will be more important than ever, not only to reduce your risk from flu but also to help conserve potentially scarce healthcare resources.
