Three UW Health RNs Named Among 'Madison's Top Nurses'

American Family Children's Hospital pediatric nurses Bill Yerges and Betsy Bazur-LeidyMadison, Wisconsin - It's no secret that UW Health has amazing nurses who practice throughout our hospitals, clinics and beyond. But when three of them land on the coveted "Madison's Top Nurses" list, it is cause for some extra celebration.


Since 2012, Madison Magazine's Madison's Top Nurses list has been an honor bestowed among outstanding RNs practicing throughout Madison hospitals and clinics, who've been nominated by their peers.


This year, the following UW Health nurses were three of six Madison's Top Nurses selected out of 59 nominated RNs, who are being recognized for their unique and valuable contributions to the nursing profession and patient care:

  • Betsy Bazur-Leidy, RN, BSN, CPN: Pediatric Endocrinology, American Family Children's Hospital
  • Bill Yerges, RN, BSN, CPS, CTL: Pediatric Universal Care Unit, American Family Children's Hospital
  • Sarah Larson, RN, CEN: Med Flight and American Family Children's Hospital Emergency Transport Ambulance
