Sing for the Children 3 Raises $54,000 for American Family Children's Hospital

Madison, Wisconsin - Sing for the Children 3, a musical revue to benefit American Family Children's Hospital, raised nearly $54,000 during two shows last month at the Orpheum Theater in downtown Madison.

More than 900 people experienced singing and dancing performances by employees of UW Health and a number of local sponsors.

Proceeds were donated to the hospital's patient and family fund.

"I'm especially grateful to the emcees, John Flint, morning host at 96.3 Star Country, and Brian Olson, meteorologist at Channel 27," said Mike Sauk, the show's producer and director and chief information officer at UW Health.  "They did a tremendous job of hosting the event."

American Family Children's Hospital is a complete children's medical and surgical center with a pediatric intensive care unit, an internationally recognized transplant surgery program, a children's cancer center, and a family-friendly atmosphere.
