Retail Pharmacy Changes Beginning Friday, March 20

Our Services

Pharmacy Locations

Madison, Wisconsin – UW Health Pharmacy Services is changing how patients can receive their medications, in an effort to respond to COVID-19 and shorten the duration of the outbreak. These changes go into effect Friday, March 20, 2020.

Most of our pharmacy locations are temporarily closed to the public. We are offering free mail and delivery services for all patients for the duration of the outbreak. Pharmacy staff will help patients with this process when they need refills or when the pharmacy receives a new prescription.

For emergent needs — or when mail or delivery is not an option — pick-up or drive-up services are available. However, the priority will be minimizing patient and employee interactions and mailing or delivering prescriptions when possible.

The health and safety of our patients and staff is always our top priority. We believe that this step is in the best interest of patients, staff and the community during this challenging period. This is a rapidly evolving situation, and we will reassess schedules on an ongoing basis.
