Advanced Modality Training

The technology used in imaging continues to advance, paving the way to more complex and comprehensive imaging techniques. UW Health radiologists and staff have the opportunity to use state-of-the art imaging equipment and advanced imaging techniques. Our imaging modalities are leading-edge, and our professionals implement the most recent, innovative protocols and procedures to diagnose and treat patients.

In order to keep pace in a rapidly changing field, UW Health's Radiology Department is committed to specialized training in many specific areas.
As faculty physicians for the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, our clinical instructors train, educate and support our staff of radiologic technologists and radiology-specialized RNs. Our ultrasound division also uses a clinical instructor for the instruction of ultrasound staff technologists and students from the UW Hospital and Clinics School of Diagnostic Ultrasonography.

UW Health's Radiology Department believes education, training and teamwork, both in the classroom and on clinical rotations, are critical to keeping pace in our fast-paced, professional and patient-friendly environment.
