The UW Health Lupus Clinic is the only clinic in Wisconsin dedicated to treating patients who have systemic lupus erythematous (SLE, or lupus).
Patients receive care from:
- A rheumatologist, who is an expert in arthritis and the immune system who specializes in providing care to lupus patients
- A social worker, who coordinates care and provides social, emotional and psychological support
- And a pharmacist, who specializes in medication concerns, drug interactions and medication insurance coverage
The Lupus Clinic team coordinates care to improve the lives of people with lupus.
