Stop the Bleed - Save a Life
Launched in October 2015, "Stop the Bleed" is a national awareness campaign and a call to action. UW Health supports the campaign and through its Level I Trauma Center, is a regional leader to help cultivate a grassroots effort to encourage bystanders to become trained, equipped and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives. As the Level I Trauma Center in the area, we are dedicated to promoting and supporting the Stop the Bleed campaign.
UW Health supports Stop the Bleed by providing training supplies and hosting Stop the Bleed classes in the area.
