Why UW? I came to UW because of the robust and innovative health system specialty pharmacy operations and progressive thought leaders. After interviewing with UW, I knew I would be a good fit because the department's vision was clear – be the nation’s leader in pharmacy. That resonated with me as I saw UW at the forefront of health system specialty pharmacy by providing outstanding patient care, developing industry standards, and constantly expanding their vast network of key stakeholders. Lastly, I think the mentorship provided here is unmatched anywhere else. My RPD, preceptor and a large network of past residents are always willing to provide guidance, feedback, and help me with my career goals. I look forward to the opportunities this residency will provide me this year and for the rest of my career.
