Sarah teaches the Mindfulness for Middle Schoolers class with the UW Health Mindfulness Program and is training to teach the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) curriculum. She has been formally practicing mindfulness since 2013. Sarah was an instructor of the Kindness Curriculum for preschoolers at the UW Center for Healthy Minds. In 2017, she participated in the UW Health Mindfulness Program Teacher Training Practicum. Sarah has worked in the field of adventure programming both nationally and internationally. She has a Master of Social Work degree and works as a Community Social Worker in Dane County. She is interested in the intersections of mindfulness and racial justice.
