About

Sarah Webber, MD, is a UW Health Kids pediatrician and an associate professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Hospital Medicine and Complex Care at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health

Dr. Webber cares for children and adolescents who are undergoing minor surgical procedures, imaging and biopsies. She provides sedating medications and psychological support to patients who are both hospitalized as well as those receiving outpatient care.

Her goal is to help patients navigate challenging procedures without experiencing medical trauma. When developmentally appropriate, she helps build patients’ confidence in order to be active participants in their medical care.

Outside of work, Dr. Webber enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading fiction and being outdoors — especially gardening.

I work to understand the needs, past experiences, expectations, fears and strengths of each of my patients so I can best support them.
