Rebecca Nelson, PA

Becky Nelson, PA, is a physician assistant at UW Health who cares for patients with sports-related injuries of the knee or shoulder. She sees patients both before and after surgery.

Becky makes it a point to understand her patients’ goals for returning to activity after a sports injury. She explains the injury and expectations for recovery, so the patient knows what to expect at every stage. She finds it very rewarding to see her patients complete their course of treatment and get back to their sport without pain.

In her free time, Becky enjoys gardening, traveling and visiting northern Wisconsin during the summer.

My passion is listening to the patient, understanding their goals, knowing the activities they want to get back to, and helping them work toward that goal.
