Dr. Ravi Dhingra joined the Department of Medicine in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in September 2013 and is currently the Medical Director of UW Health’s Heart Failure and Transplant Program. His clinical interests include assessment of heart failure risk and prognosis, treatment of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, advanced heart failure management with use of mechanical circulatory support devices (e.g. LVAD) and heart transplantation.

Dr. Dhingra's research focuses on predictors of poor survival with heart transplant, HLA sensitization and heart transplant outcomes, epidemiology and risk factors for heart failure, and association of biomarkers to ventricular remodeling and incident heart failure. He has published several first-authored research articles in peer-reviewed journals and is a recipient of Best Paper award by American Heart Association in 2007.
