About

Paul Staskowski, MD, is a UW Health otolaryngologist — or ENT (ear, nose and throat) doctor — and is also an associate professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.

Dr. Staskowski cares for infants, children, adolescents and adults. He diagnoses and treats conditions ranging from pediatric ear infections and tonsillitis to sinus disorders, ear diseases, hearing loss and throat problems. He also cares for patients who have head and neck conditions such as thyroid disorders, neck masses, cancer of the head and neck and traumatic facial injuries.

He prioritizes taking time to get to know patients and families. He listens to and addresses their concerns to develop personalized treatment plans. Treatments can range from medical therapies to leading-edge minimally invasive and open surgery procedures.

As a faculty member, Dr. Staskowski teaches medical students and residents in clinic, operating room and lecture hall settings.

In his free time, Dr. Staskowski enjoys outdoor activities, including cross-country skiing, canoeing and backpacking.

I enjoy treating a variety of people and conditions, from infants and kids to adults, grandparents and the whole family. When they feel better and are happy, that makes me happy.
