Monika Nischik, MS LMFT is a Licensed Marriage and Therapist. Monika completed her graduate studies at Edgewood College in Madison, WI. She has worked extensively with individuals with autism, anxiety, OCD, attachment concerns, challenging behavior, and depression across the lifespan since 2010 and has a passion for finding creative, family-centered solutions to ongoing issues and concerns. Monika believes in a relationship focused approach and is skilled at incorporating kid-friendly and sensory informed strategies in therapy. Monika has a passion for working with children, adolescents and adults. Using a relationship-based framework, Monika’s success in treatment comes from her engagement with clients and her belief in fostering healthy attachments and incorporating interactive therapies into treatment. Monika is dedicated to helping family members form strong bonds with one another in a supportive and nurturing environment.
Monika has specialized training in Anxiety/OCD through IOCDF (International Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Foundation), training in Adoption Competency, and has completed a Behavior Analysis Certification Board verified course sequence in Applied Behavior Analysis at Ball State University.
