About

Michelle Elmer, PA, is a physician assistant at UW Health. She treats a wide array of skin conditions, including acne, dermatitis, eczema, hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), melanoma and other types of cancerous and noncancerous skin conditions.

As a physician assistant, Michelle performs preventive care such as mole checks and cancer screening and offers skin care, topical treatments for acne and other skin disorders, and other services. She also offers telemedicine video visits to minimize travel and offer added convenience for her patients.

Michelle entered the health care field to help ease some of the challenges often associated with an illness or skin condition. She makes sure her patients are well informed about their conditions and treatment options so they’re comfortable with their choices and care.

Outside of work, Michelle enjoys spending time with her family, including camping and family trips. She likes to spend time outdoors and enjoys taking their dogs to the dog park.

Skin conditions can affect a person’s health as well as their confidence. Good listening, compassion and education make a big difference in helping people get better.
