About

Michael Leasure, MD, is a UW Health family medicine doctor. He provides care for patients of all ages and is fluent in English and Spanish.

Dr. Leasure diagnoses and treats a variety of general health concerns, ranging from acute illnesses, infections and injuries to chronic conditions like heart disease, substance abuse and weight management. He also offers routine physical exams, prenatal care, geriatric care and outpatient procedures.

Whether they are welcoming a newborn or managing a chronic illness, Dr. Leasure strives to help families lead their best lives. He takes time to listen to his patients’ questions and concerns and creates care plans that reflect their individual goals. As a lifelong partner to his patients, Dr. Leasure values being a part of each family’s story.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Leasure also is a clinical assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, Department of Family Medicine and Community Health.

Outside of work, Dr. Leasure enjoys backpacking, traveling and learning about non-partisan political reform.
