As a pediatric pulmonologist, Dr. Schroth provides medical expertise and collaborates with patients and families to optimize pulmonary health. She earned her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health (formerly UW Medical School), Madison, WI. She completed her pediatric residency and pediatric pulmonology fellowship at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, IA.

 

Board certified in pediatric pulmonology, Dr. Schroth is the Director of the Pediatric Pulmonary Center Grant, Medical Director of American Family Children's Hospital's Synagis Program, Co-Director of the MDA Neuromuscular Disorder Clinic and a Professor of Pediatric Pulmonology in the UW School of Medicine and Public Health.

 

Dr. Schroth is skilled in bronchoscopy and pulmonary function test interpretation, and her area of clinical interest is pulmonary management of neuromuscular disorders and children with pulmonary technology dependence. She is also skilled in asthma management, chronic lung disease of prematurity and other pulmonary disorders of childhood.
