About

Lori Oettinger, NP, is a dermatology nurse practitioner at UW Health. Lori provides skin cancer screenings, skin exams and biopsies. She cares for people with a variety of skin conditions, including acne, rosacea (red rash on the face), warts, athlete’s foot (type of fungal infection) and alopecia (hair loss).

Lori is dedicated to providing compassionate care to each of her patients. She serves as an advocate for her patients, with patient education as a main component of her care. She enjoys getting to know her patients as individuals while she watches their lives improve through treatment of their skin condition.

Always looking to provide the best care possible for her patients, Lori is excited about all the new treatments that are on the horizon for dermatologic conditions.

In her free time, Lori enjoys cooking, gardening, reading, traveling and spending time with her kids.

My philosophy toward patient care is to advocate for my patients as if they were a member of my own family.
