Lisa Thomas Prince is a Co-Program Manager of the UW Health Mindfulness Program. Lisa began teaching with the Mindfulness Program in 2014 and helped to develop the Mindfulness for Middle Schoolers course. Lisa's professional focus has been in public health and education. Lisa has been practicing yoga and mindfulness meditation for more than 20 years. She completed the Inner Kids professional training program with Susan Kaiser Greenland in 2014 and the MBSR Teacher Training Intensive through UCSD in 2015. Lisa worked for 12 years as a world language teacher in grades pre-K through 8, and has collaborated with teachers and staff to integrate mindfulness practices into schools. Lisa is particularly interested in working to cultivate mindful awareness and compassion with youth of all ages and their families. Most recently, Lisa completed training in the Mindfulness-Based Childbirth and Parenting (MBCP) Program.
