Lisa Jones, MD, MPH

Lisa Jones, MD, MPH, is a UW Health gastroenterologist and an assistant professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.

Dr. Jones cares for people with pelvic floor and anorectal disorders (anus and rectum) that can cause difficult evacuation, fecal incontinence and rectal pain.

Dr. Jones also performs upper endoscopies, colonoscopies and more complex procedures. She’s excited about advancements in treating benign and anorectal disorders and that researchers are developing new technologies that make it easier for people to pass stool. 

Outside of work, Dr. Jones enjoys traveling, golfing and cooking.

The most rewarding thing about taking care of my patients is being able to provide a safe space for those patients to tell their stories.
