Katharine Greenfield, MD, is a UW Health family medicine doctor and a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.

Dr. Greenfield treats acute (sudden onset) and chronic (ongoing) health conditions in patients of all ages. Dr. Greenfield regularly provides preventive health services, such as managing chronic health conditions and screening for diseases such as cancer.

She has a special interest in women’s health, including contraceptive management. Dr. Greenfield provides care for dermatologic conditions, and performs some in-office skin procedures, including biopsies. She also provides care and management for migraines.

Outside of work, Dr. Greenfield is an avid puzzler.

It’s special to be with a family during a difficult time or a difficult conversation, knowing that they really need someone there with them. I’m proud to be able to do that.
