About

Jonathan Anderson, MD, is an internist at UW Health. He provides primary care, including preventive medicine. He diagnoses and treats acute and chronic health conditions, supports mental health issues and coordinates care with specialists when needed.

Dr. Anderson applies the most up-to-date, scientifically proven medical practices and helps his patients make strategic behavioral changes to support them in achieving their personal health goals.

His philosophy is to engage patients in their own health care so they can make the best decisions for themselves. He listens to patients carefully to gain a clear understanding of what they’re experiencing and to identify potential barriers to care. Dr. Anderson strives to help patients live life to the fullest by ensuring their physical and mental health needs are met.

Outside of work, Dr. Anderson serves as an assistant clinical professor at UW School of Medicine and Public Health, Department of Medicine. He enjoys cooking and reading and he is active in his church.

What gets me excited is being able to help people improve how they feel, how they interact with the world, and how they see their future.
