About

Jennifer Karnowski, MD, is a UW Health obstetrician and gynecologist and a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She sees patients from adolescence to old age for a broad spectrum of women’s health concerns.

Dr. Karnowski cares for a wide range of patients and provides pregnancy and prenatal care, cervical cancer screenings and routine women’s health services. She has a clinical interest in surgically treating complex pregnancies and other female reproductive problems. Dr. Karnowski specializes in performing minimally invasive gynecologic procedures and robotic surgeries.

Dr. Karnowski often meets her patients at pivotal moments and looks forward to building lifelong relationships with them. As a firm believer in holistic care, Dr. Karnowski takes time to get to know each patient’s unique needs. She strives to provide a safe space for people to share their concerns and works with patients to create plans that fit their goals.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Karnowski pursues her interest in global health by educating residents on sustainability and health equity. She also travels internationally to perform surgeries.

In her free time, Dr. Karnowski enjoys traveling and outdoor activities like camping and paddle sports.
