About

Gwenevere McIntosh, MD, is a UW Health Kids pediatrician and the associate dean for students at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Dr. McIntosh provides care for young patients, from birth through young adulthood.

Dr. McIntosh diagnoses and treats the full spectrum of acute (sudden) and chronic (long-term) conditions and illnesses such as coughs and colds, flu, ear infections, skin rashes, asthma and acne. She also offers preventive care, including well-child exams, immunizations and annual physicals.

Dr. McIntosh enjoys helping adolescents and teens transition safely into young adulthood. She provides easy to understand education and teaches ways to stay healthy and reduce the risk of injuries.

Dr. McIntosh enjoys getting to know her patients on a personal level and caring for them through all their developmental stages. She believes that parents are a key part of a child’s care team. She listens closely to their concerns and partners with them to create effective treatment plans and promote good nutrition and healthy lifestyles.

In her free time, Dr. McIntosh enjoys watching youth sports.
