Dr. Reizner's expertise is in the early detection and identification, treatment and management of patients with melanoma, general dermatology and minor dermatological surgery. He is the co-founder and co-director of the University of Wisconsin Multidisciplinary Melanoma Clinic established in 1995. In this clinic he cares for patients with both early and advanced stage melanoma in collaboration with surgery and cancer doctors.
Dr. Reizner is also the past Vice Chair for Education for the Department of Dermatology and Program Director for the Dermatology Training Program and a past president of the Wisconsin Dermatological Society.
Dr. Reizner has been an international visiting professor in the Philippines, Kuwait, India, Nepal, Israel, Egypt and Poland and more than 25 countries as an invited speaker. He is the current President of the International Society of Dermatology and is its past Treasurer General. He also served on the Board of Directors for the Federation for International Dermatological Education. He is an Honorary Member of the Philippines Dermatological Society and an Honorary Consultant to the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine. He is a past Associate Editor for the International Journal of Dermatology and has been on the editorial board of the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and a past reviewer of the Archives of Dermatology, Dermatological Surgery and Dermatology Therapeutics
