Elizabeth Perry, MD

About

Elizabeth Perry, MD, is a family medicine doctor at UW Health. Dr. Perry enjoys caring for people of all ages, from newborns to senior citizens. She treats illnesses and injuries and helps people manage chronic conditions, such as diabetes, asthma and high blood pressure. She also provides women’s health care, physicals and well-child checks.

Dr. Perry believes the most important aspect of her job is listening to her patients’ concerns and allowing them to ask questions. She provides as much information as possible so they can set goals and make informed decisions about how they’d like to manage their medical conditions. If her patients are nervous about an upcoming test, MRI or visit with a specialist, Dr. Perry tries to address their concerns and offers suggestions to ease their stress.

Her goal is to help people live a healthy, productive life — mentally and physically.

In addition to patient care, Dr. Perry serves as an associate clinical professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.

During her free time, Dr. Perry enjoys swimming and writing poetry.

My role as a doctor is not to tell people what to do, but to help them decide what steps they’d like to take to live a healthy, productive life.
