About

Elizabeth "Liz" Bartholomew, LCSW, is a UW Health Kids child/adolescent therapist. Liz works with children and adolescents ages 3-18, and their families, experiencing differing needs, challenges or stressors related to mental illness or environmental, societal or relational pressures at home or school. She regularly works with young people who have anxiety, depression and other mental health conditions such as obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).

Liz also has a clinical interest in helping elementary- and middle school-aged students improve their social problem-solving and friendship skills.

Using a variety of evidence-based treatment methods, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness and exposure and response prevention (ERP), Elizabeth works to build trusting relationships with each of her patients and their families.

When she’s not working, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her family and fostering dogs for a local organization.

I believe in creating a partnership with kids, teens and families to help them achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
