Elise Strycharske, NP

Elise Strycharske, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner who specializes in transplant cardiology. Elise cares for adults with advanced heart failure or heart disease requiring heart transplant surgery.

Elise is invested in the long-term care of all her patients. She works with them throughout their entire heart transplant process, beginning with being put on the transplant list. She then continues to provide care through surgery, recovery and beyond.

Elise believes in involving patients in their care plan decisions. She provides education to fill in the knowledge gaps and works with patients and their families to create treatment plans that best meet their needs and goals. She enjoys getting to know her patients over time and finds helping them and their families very rewarding.

In her free time, Elise enjoys running and boating.

Listening to patients and getting them involved in care is paramount.
