Catherine Leith, MD, is a UW Health pathologist and a professor in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Dr. Leith specializes in hematopathology (diseases of the blood and lymph nodes).

As a pathologist, Dr. Leith examines bone marrow, lymph nodes and other tissues to diagnose blood cancers such as leukemia and lymphoma. She works closely with other UW Health doctors and specialists who are treating patients with blood disorders and diseases.

In addition to serving as director of Hematopathology and director of hematology, Dr. Leith runs the flow cytometry lab responsible for immunodeficiency testing, stem cell analysis and immunophenotyping of bone marrow and nodes.
