About

Camille Conway is a UW Health nurse practitioner who specializes in cardiovascular medicine. She is a member of the cardiology consult team and helps care for adults hospitalized in the cardiovascular medicine (heart care) unit. Working with other providers she consults on interventional cardiology (using a catheter to treat heart and blood vessel conditions) and advanced heart failure cases.

Camille feels that it’s an honor and privilege to be part of someone's health care experience. She understands that being in the hospital isn’t easy. She’s devoted to caring for her patients and provides them with tools to continue recovery once they’re discharged. Prior to becoming a cardiology consult team member, she was part of the Alzheimer's Disease Research Center at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and participated in research on preventing Alzheimer's Disease and tracking its biomarkers. During the Covid-19 pandemic, she became involved in a peer support program to address provider and health care worker burnout.

Outside of the clinic, Camille enjoys being on the water in the summer, cross-country skiing in the winter, camping and hiking.

I entered the medical profession to help individuals live a healthier life and have the best quality of life.
