Bob began practicing meditation and yoga in 1998 to support his addiction recovery. He began teaching with the UW Health Mindfulness Program in 2013, and he has trained with the Center for Mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, YogaWorks, the Myrna Brind Center for Mindfulness at Jefferson University Hospital, the UCLA Mindful Awareness Research Center, and the UC San Diego Center for Mindfulness. A licensed psychotherapist since 2005, Bob specializes in mindfulness-oriented and trauma-informed therapy. He has presented internationally on the clinical applications of mindfulness, and is interested in the integration of mindfulness into intimate relationships, parenting, chronic health issues, and social justice.
