Research |
Dr. Djamali is interested in examining the cellular and molecular mechanisms of fibrogenesis in native and transplant kidney disease. He is currently investigating the role of Nox and heat shock protein 27 in the pathogenesis of kidney injury. Ongoing translational studies are examining these processes in patients with chronic kidney disease and chronic allograft nephropathy. |
