Dr. D’Alessandro earned his medical degree from Hahnemann University in Philadelphia and completed his residency in general surgery followed by a transplantation fellowship at the University of Wisconsin. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery in general surgery. His clinical specialties are liver, kidney, small bowel and multi-organ transplants, and he directs our adult and pediatric liver transplant programs.
