About

Anne Hoeft, NP, is a UW Health Kids pediatric nurse practitioner. Anne cares for children and teens who have acute and chronic pain, often due to complex medical conditions. She specializes in pediatric pain management and palliative care, working to control her patients’ pain and manage symptoms so they can live a better quality of life.

Anne has a special interest in strategies to manage or relieve pain without using medicine.

As a pediatric nurse practitioner, Anne believes in the importance of family-centered care, partnering with the family to reduce stress, improve communication and help improve the child’s overall health.

In her spare time, Anne enjoys spending time with her family, playing fetch with her dog, reading, putting together puzzles, traveling and exploring Madison.

Children have the remarkable ability to heal or adapt to their medical conditions. I’m highly motivated to be a supportive member of their care team and help them feel better.
