About

Angela Clarson, PA, is a physician assistant at UW Health. She cares for people who suffer from severe and chronic headaches. Angela treats migraines, tension headaches, cluster headaches and atypical facial pain that often impacts the jaw, ear or cheeks. She also treats specific conditions that cause throbbing pain due to pressure around the brain, sudden, severe facial pain, or post-concussion headaches and other symptoms that last long after the injury.

To help patients overcome headache pain, she investigates potential physical causes along with the role of mental health and lifestyle factors. Angela takes a holistic approach — using the latest medications while also talking with patients about the importance of good nutrition, physical activity, stress levels, relationships and coping mechanisms.

In her free time, Angela enjoys hiking, kayaking, yoga and mindfulness meditation.

The most rewarding part of my job is when someone says I helped them, relieved their pain or made their lives better.
