Alison is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. In addition, she holds a National D coaching license through the U.S. Soccer Federation. Alison graduated with a bachelor's degree in Health Promotion and Wellness from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and earned a master's degree in Applied Cognitive Science and Human Factors at Michigan Technological University in Houghton, MI. Her research was in Sport Psychology and Motor Control. Prior to joining UW Health Sports Performance, she spent three years as a graduate assistant in Strength and Conditioning at Michigan Technological University, working mainly with the women's soccer, tennis and women's volleyball teams, and then worked in Strength and Conditioning at Finlandia University in Hancock, MI, working with all varsity sports.
