Class Spotlight: Aqua Sampler

For good reason we offer many different aquatic exercise classes here. But which one is right for you?
Of course, our aquatics staff is happy to advise you toward the most appropriate pool class. But, if you’re like me – and you like to experience things for yourself - our summer Aqua Sampler is a perfect opportunity for you!
Over seven short weeks, the summer Aqua Sampler will provide you with the opportunity to participate in most of the water exercise class options available. You will experience first-hand class formats held in both the lap and warm water pool.
The summer Aqua Sampler will be led by Susan Reilly, our USWF-certified aquatic instructor. Susan will be lead you through a variety of aquatic exercise formats utilizing both pools and a range of exercise formats.
Some of the various Aqua Sampler exercises focus include (but are not limited to):
- Aerobic conditioning
- Deep stretching
- Core strength
- Muscular endurance
Finally, one final class will also reflect on “play” – the importance (and some clever ways to) of including creativity and fun in your aquatic workout!

- Mondays, 6:30–7:15pm
- 7 weeks: June 6–July 25 (no class July 4th)
