Join UW Health Transplant Dietitian, Becca Wallschlaeger MS RDN CD, for an evening of healthy living strategies including a hands-on cooking demonstration and tasting. Learn how to incorporate more fresh foods into your diet to help promote healthier eating habits and weight loss. You will also be given the strategies to achieve weight maintenance once you’ve met your weight loss goals.


Pre-transplant patients with chronic kidney disease, diabetes, or patients with non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) liver disease who need to lose weight for transplant. Family and friends are also welcome.


Session Schedule

  • 5:30pm: Hands-on cooking demonstration
  • 6:45pm: Food tasting and discussion
