Saving Sight Sessions: September 30
What Will We Learn on the Way to Successful Whole Eyeball Transplant?
Featuring: Dr. Robert Nickells
When Dr. Robert Nickells was in college, Buck Rogers was one of his favorite science-fiction, adventure heroes. Buck was battling to save earth from evil forces and the best part was that he used “out of this world” technological advances to do it. Today, Dr. Nickells is battling to make whole eyeball transplant a reality to save sight—and offer hope to many. Please join Dr. Nickells to learn about this exciting project. Time for your questions will round out the evening. Relentless UW researchers are working to bring tomorrow’s treatments to you. We look forward to hosting you at our first-ever Saving Sight Session.
