If you're like most women, you have lots of questions about personal topics that don't often get discussed - and it's time to start talking! Come join our Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery experts, Heidi Brown, Dobie Giles and Sarah McAchran, for a conversation about the things our mothers, sisters and girlfriends never told us about.

Pelvic floor disorders affect one in three women, and the prevalence increases with age. Strengthening your pelvic floor muscles through simple exercises can help control bladder, bowel and bulge symptoms. The discussion will also point out dietary changes that can affect your healthm such as increasing fiber and limiting caffeine. You will also learn what's normal water consumption to limit bladder and bowel symptoms.

This free presentation, part of the Workshops on Wellness: Promoting a Healthier Lifestyle in Waunakee, is sponsored by the Village Center of Waunakee and the Waunakee-Westport Lions Club.
