Rhiannon Talbot, DO

Rhiannon Talbot, DO, is a UW Health palliative care doctor. She is also a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.

Dr. Talbot cares for people in the hospital who have serious and life-limiting illnesses such as cancer, heart failure and advanced lung disease. She helps to enhance their quality of life and manage the discomfort (like pain and shortness of breath) related to their illness.

Additionally, Dr. Talbot provides emotional support and medical guidance. She takes the time to get to know her patients and what is important to them. Then she walks them through how to make medical choices that fit with the way they want to live.

Outside of work, Dr. Talbot is an avid knitter — she won't wear a sweater if she didn't make it herself! She also enjoys attending and participating in performing arts events.
