Hannah Rottinghaus, PA

Hannah Rottinghaus, PA, is a UW Health physician assistant who specializes in otolaryngology — ear, nose and throat (ENT).

Hannah treats people who have acute (sudden) or chronic (ongoing) ear, nose and throat problems. These can include airway blockages, breathing disorders, balance and dizziness issues, cancer, hearing loss, nerve problems, sinus trouble, sleep apnea and swallowing difficulty.

During initial visits, Hannah performs comprehensive head and neck exams. She listens to her patients’ concerns and explains their diagnoses. Together, they develop treatment plans. When patients need surgery, Hannah provides care before and after their procedures. She explains their conditions and what to expect.

One of Hannah’s special interests is treating patients with head and neck cancer. Since a cancer diagnosis can be especially stressful, she takes a holistic approach. She talks with patients and families about their overall well-being and offers support and resources, as needed.

While caring for patients, Hannah also serves as a preceptor, teaching others who are studying to become advanced practice health care providers.

During her free time, Hannah enjoys biking, cooking, gardening, spending time with family and caring for their dogs.
