About

Anne Mayer, PA, is a UW Health physician assistant specializing in gynecologic oncology. She cares for patients who have female reproductive system cancers such as cervical, vulvar, ovarian and vaginal cancers.

Anne ensures that cancer patients get the best possible care wherever they are in their health care journey. From newly diagnosed individuals to long-term chemotherapy patients, she educates and guides them through their cancer treatments. She gets to know each patient personally, beyond their surgery and medical therapies.

As a cancer survivorship specialist, Anne helps people navigate unique health and life challenges they often encounter after completing cancer treatment. She considers their personal concerns, needs and goals, adapting as those things change. In addition to emotional support, Anne connects people to any medical or practical support systems and resources they need for a healthy life after cancer.

In her free time, Anne enjoys cycling, cross-country skiing and her dog.

We meet people on what can be one of the worst and scariest days of their life. It’s an honor to care for them, see them evolve and help get them through this journey.
