Andrew Van Hyfte provides psychotherapy for a wide range of conditions within the spectrum of AODA and mental health concerns. He graduated from Marquette University in 2007 with a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. He has special interest and experience in medication assisted therapy for opiate use disorders, including Suboxone and Vivitrol. He has worked in a variety of settings including residential, within the legal system and jails, and in outpatient settings. He can provide services to clients throughout the lifespan, from 15 and up. Drew commonly utilizes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, but has an eclectic style that can incorporate elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy and Motivational Interviewing, among others. Drew is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, and has interest in applying this therapy to trauma.
