Stephanie Berkson, MPA

Vice President, Corporate Strategy and Planning

Stephanie Berkson is Vice President, Corporate Strategy and Planning within the Strategy Office at UW Health. In this role, Stephanie leads enterprise wide strategic planning and is responsible for the direction and management of program strategic planning, business planning, portfolio management and corporate project management.

Stephanie began her career at UW Health in 2008 serving in leadership positions including: Quality Improvement Manager with the Department of Family Medicine, University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health; Director, Quality, Safety and Innovation, University of Wisconsin Medical Foundation; Director, Delivery System Innovation, UW Health; Vice President, UW Health ACO; and Vice President, Population Health.

Prior to joining UW Health, Stephanie served in strategic planning and quality improvement roles at New York Harbor Healthcare System with the Department of Veterans Affairs, contributed to program evaluation at New York University’s Center for Health & Public Service Research and staffed health insurance policy research programs at The Commonwealth Fund. She holds a Master’s of Public Administration, Health Policy & Management and a Bachelor’s of Arts in Biology, both from New York University, New York, NY.
