UW Medical Foundation Board of Directors: Ann Casey
Ms. Casey is a public member of the UW Medical Foundation Board and serves on the board's investment and finance committees. Since 1999, she has served as Vice President, Finance and Planned Giving at the Madison Community Foundation. There she directs financial and accounting activities for Foundation assets, including investment management and policy development. She also assists individuals with planned giving and major gifts.
Before joining MCF in 1999, Ms. Casey spent nearly 20 years in public accounting as a Senior Tax Manager with Ernst & Young and Grant Thornton, focusing on tax planning for entrepreneurial businesses, executives and high net-worth individuals. She received the Elijah Watt Sells Award for High Distinction on her CPA exam and is a member of the Wisconsin Institute for CPAs.
In addition to her work on the UWMF Board, Ms. Casey currently sits on the Wisconsin Planned Giving Council and the Catholic Diocese of Madison Foundation.
Ms. Casey holds a B.A. in Accounting from UW-Whitewater and a Masters in Taxation from UW-Madison, and she completed a Strategic Perspectives in Nonprofit Management program at the Harvard School of Business.
